Thipura is one of the seven sister state in India. The state is famous for its lush green forest,flora and fauna, hilly landscape and varied tribal and non tribal communities and their cultures.

Infact it is rich in man power and potential industrialization opportunities. The economic condition is a big worry there, with very less opportunities in private sector jobs and government employement is the only big hope there. The state is long shattered with insurgency. The reason for the adverse situation is mainly its geographic location.
